We are in an exciting partnership with Greater Lincolnshire LEP, offering selected online and classroom courses to yourself and your staff on a fully funded basis through the Coastal Communities Fund. Following such a successful first roll out, we are now pleased to offer you phase 2 of the project that will be available initially on a month by month basis, with the opportunity to extend the range of courses and funding, subject to demand and the feedback received from businesses and candidates.
Courses initially available for this pilot are all 'bite-sized'
Acts and Licenses (5 courses) - including GDPR/Gambling/Bribery/Equality & Diversity/Entertainment - short introductions to statutory and licensing regulations.
Health and Safety (3 courses) - Managing Safety / Legionella / Fire Safety.
Siting of Single Units - includes a combination of classroom-based learning, practical on-site exercises, and our unique virtual reality experience.
Holiday Home Ownership Code of Practice - 12 modules based on the combined purchase and license agreement.
All courses are fully funded.
We are delighted to be working with Visit Lincs Coast and Lincolnshire County Council, who have secured funding for industry employers on the Lincolnshire coastal strip and many of the subjects above will transfer easily across the visitor economy.
Subject to project limits, all staff that successfully complete a topic will receive funding. Each employee can access any of the courses and you can enrol staff at any level either to boost existing knowledge and skill sets, or to provide development opportunities for front-line staff - including those on furlough.
First come, first served!
To access the fully funded courses visit NCC Training Academy Online Courses here for more details on the above courses. Once you have decided which courses you would like, registration and booking online is easy. Just remember to select the Lincolnshire Coastal Communities Funding box to ensure your applications are FREE.
Please get involved for your team or yourself and connect to any other coastal businesses to ensure funding opportunities for our industry remain available in Lincolnshire.
